An automated financial operations and reconciliation engine designed for a fast-scaling cross-border payment provider. Ingests bank statements, payment gateway settlement webhooks, and ledger entries in real time to detect discrepancies and settle accounts with cryptographic auditability.

Finance teams spent 6+ hours every evening manually reconciling thousands of multi-currency wire transfers, foreign exchange fees, and split transactions in spreadsheets. A 2.4% discrepancy rate caused delayed merchant payouts and expensive month-end forensic audits.

We replaced manual batches with an immutable, event-driven ledger. Every transaction triggers a multi-pass deterministic matching pipeline that parses bank settlement strings, calculates dynamic FX spreads, and applies rule-based fuzzy matching before creating cryptographic balance attestations.

Next.js finance control center backed by Node.js worker pools orchestrated via BullMQ and Redis. High-concurrency PostgreSQL cluster with Serializable transaction isolation and append-only ledger logs. Every ledger entry is linked with SHA-256 hash chains for tamper detection.

Built with Next.js, Node.js worker threads, PostgreSQL (Serializable isolation), BullMQ queue manager, Redis, and custom SHA-256 state hashing algorithms.
